Unfortunately several. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and I'd nowhere to keep them. I did however reascue all the redundant Stores Racks and Drawers when they were scrapped at my last Firm. Several people, including me, now use them.

Come on you lot, someone must eat them.
If all the Forum members ate a fourpack every week it would take no time at all

Your pots look 'rectangular' in one photo, but 'square' in others - but that could be an effect of the perspective & the photography. However, Tesco's yogurt pots are similar, but they are not 'rectangular', but 'square'. We go through a fair few of those yogurts here - the empty plastic pots always end up in the bin.

They are actually Rectangular Al, but not very.
The reason I like them, apart from their availability, is that they are much more robust than the usual Yoghurt pots, which in my experience are extremely flimsy.
I trust you are putting your used pots in the Recycling Bin.

I bought a HUGE box of those storage boxes that clip onto louvred metal panels - they were good condition but ex-storeroom and very grubby. About 500 of them for 30 quid delivered (HUGE box).

Secretly, over about a week, I loaded the dishwasher with about 50 at a time - they came out like new.

I then bought some packs of 1000 of re-seal-able small plastic bags which have a writing panel on them - very cheap - about 8 quid/1000.

All small components now resides in those - a wall of labelled trays each with dozens of plastic bags...

Bigger stuff, like heat sinks, meters, valve bases, bigger capacitors etc. live in neat stacks of strong plain white cardboard postage boxes - the ones that come flat and you just fold them into shape - came in a pack of 50.

Bigger stuff lives in "Really Useful" boxes - can't recommend these highly enough - buy them online for a good saving over the high-street price.

Pretty cheap, fast to access & to see what's there, stays clean... what's not to like?

I trust you are putting your used pots in the Recycling Bin.

Sheffield Council get mad if we put them in our recycling bins as they're for Bottles, Tins and Jars only.

I save Sainsbury's cheap yoghurt pots as plant pots. They seem pretty strong and certainly would be when surrounded by expanding foam.

I've also got a job lot of Linbins in various sizes and also some 'Louvred' panels to hang them on. The snag I find is that they tend to get knocked off too easily.
A good source of little boxes are the ones that Business Cards come in - you can buy empty ones for not much.

I have got some of the bins that fit on a panel too.
My best box find was when they changed the food supplier for the kitchen where my other half worked at the time.
They just left loads of them behind the building.
I got two estate car loads of them and they are very useful.

Just an idea Big Al but could you do a similar thing with the Poundland plastic cups as used in vending machines; lots of these for little money; I know they are round but I don't think many of your components will comment on this?

Err, no. The re-cycling bin, provided by Wychavon District Council, states explicitly that the only type of plastic to put in said bin are plastic bottles.

Alan - earlier (and above) I made a reference to Tesco's yogurt pots: what I wrote there was from memory. Now, having just consumed the contents of one of those pots, and holding that pot in my hand, I now realise that my memory let me down (again ). Rather than go back and edit / amend that post, please read was follows as a correction to it.

These pots are not 'square': they are 'rectangular', with radiused corners; the sides are perpendicular to the base. At the top opening, the dimensions are 6 cm. x 5 cm.; height is 5 cm. The wall of the pot is a lot firmer than some yogurt pots I have eaten from: the walls of those pots are indeed thin and flimsy: these Tesco pots aren't. I estimate that the walls of these Tesco ones are about 1 mm. thick: white, non-transparent plastic

► Now all of that is not intended to be a promotional ad. for Tesco's yogurts ◄ (excellent as those yogurts are), but only to illustrate that these pots may answer you storage needs. If the dimensions are compatible with your existing arrangements, I reckon that they would make suitable replacements / additions.
