As you are aware David, I've got the full 15 model series as regards the MB60/TR82/VTR103 portables, and the TR82/97 isn't a patch on any of them. But then again it was never mean't to be, it is a modern reproduction copy after all.
Until I became aware of your extensive collection and read your in depth article in the BVWS Bulletin I'd no idea that the series was so extensive. I'd simplistically only been aware of the TR82C - I'd never known that it was preceded by a valve version. It must have been quite a task to gather together such a comprehensive collection, and to research the range in such detail Robert.
