Picked this up at the Vintage Wireless Museum yesterday, amongst other items to sell at the NVCF. It belonged to the Golders Green and Hendon Radio Society so for now it's close to its original home.

Definitely outside my own field so can anyone give me some information please. Any ideas on pricing it at the NVCF?

This is the only online reference I can find to the GG&HRS:

The Google Books page doesn't say which volume that is the index for - and you've picked the wrong one!

Try http://www.americanradiohistory.com/Arch...932-07.pdf and go to the bottom of page 43 of the pdf

Unfortunately there isn't an index with the January issue but it occurred to me that 26 issues per volume might be a bit much so, on a whim, I went for the July issues and not only found the beginning of the next volume but an Index as well containing the same entry!

What I'd forgotten was that WW used to be more frequent than monthly at one time.

Thank you and well done. Google didn't seem to find those OCR references.

Seems like the GG&HRS was well known and active in the 1920s and 30s.

http://www.americanradiohistory.com is a really great resource. Besides WW it has a lot of PTV, PW etc from this side of The Pond. I'd forgotten they did OCR on much of their collection, thereby making it even more useful.

Thank you Lawrence - I hadn't realised that you could do such an intensive search on that website before.

That will be very useful in the future (and could have been in the past, had I known about it!)
