Fair comment Mike.
Like you I run my older sets on lower HT and the performance reduction is hardly noticeable.
You've done a great job on the chassis and i'm sure the cabinet will be just as good.

AC062 spec does say Anode max volts 200 to give 20mA anode current. I agree, no point in overrunning a rare valve that you can never replace.
Seems to be working well with surprisingly few problems, looks the business too.

The radio is finished and all put back together.
The most difficult job with this restoration was finding a place for the radio to sit so it can be used occasionally.

I did consider doing something like that, but I ended up putting the restoration on here instead. There seems little point now in putting it in a magazine when it is available for all to see here in probably more detail.
Besides I dont consider myself a writer.
