There is something afoot.

Despite being sold for £1470 or so, marked as no longer available, this is back on sale for 99p with a reserve.

Is it a scam or is it genuinely for sale?

Possibly.
Be careful of how you put it on a forum.
I have my thoughts on this but not for discussion on a forum.

I have a friend who sells cars on ebay, he has a squad of bidders who bring the price up, this works surprisingly often and he gets the price he wants.
So scams are out there but I'd not like to say this is the case with the above.
