Funnily enough, your post there came top of a search I did! I was sure I'd seen it discussed elsewhere - including details of the arrangements for the elements (I'm sure there are two versions of the X) - but couldn't find anything anywhere else.
Since Chris threw all his toys out of the pram and closed VRAT he has introduced a Mark 2 version: https://www.radios-tv.co.uk/community/ but I find it clumsy and dificult to use - particularly if you don't look at it for a few days. For example, only the last half dozen posts are shown in the recent posts sidebar but they are individual posts - not threads - so all could relate to same thread!
An expanded view follows the same pattern so you might need to plough through several pages to find a selection of recent threads. The system here is vastly superior.
However, the old forum is still available - as you can see - and he has retained a copy of the very useful Pembers Ponderings site, although I have a copy of my own on the laptop. (I really must copy it onto this desktop!)
I would suggest that you repost your request in the uk d-i-y usenet group. You are sure to attract the attention of Bill Wright - an, if not the, acknowledged expert on all matters relating to TV aerials. If you really want to make sure of attracting his attention, others in the past have successfully used post headings like 'Question for Bill Wright'!
It's certainly worth a try!
