Welcome to the forum.
I'm a keen collector of all the model types (14 models and 11 chassis variations) that share the same TR82 case. Take a look at the following thread of mine; Bush MB60, TR82, VTR103 and other variants. I've just updated that thread for you by attaching a pdf of the article I did on these radios for the BVWS Bulletin back in 2010.
If you need any help or advice about safely disassembling your TR82 and getting working again I'd be only too happy to assist.

hi just to say thank you & i have just read your post & was really interested in what you have put on it ,i did not realise that they done an export model,i will no doubt be picking your brain at times,is there good place to start on a tr 82 or is there anything that is a common fault on them ,mine switches on & you can hear it hissing but it has no tuning whatsoever.
