Hi thanks steve i must join the radiomuseum. Paula ive never seen a finlux mono set but did look after a couple of finlux peacock sets . Thay had a realy good sound.
and as for the 8500 i used to fix fifty a week when i was younger and then go out clubbing at the weekend. I shall be openning this set up tomorrow and once ive found the mains filter cap i will give it some mains and see what goes pop. thanks Danny
