From memory (and I saw a couple of these through the workshop) they use completely standard Finlux style circuitry, it's the box that's odd, not the electronics.. Like the TX90 portables I have fixed a couple of these without the manuals.. Stock friends?.. all the usual suspects, plus some surprises around the plugs and sockets. If you can handle an 8500 with chroma dropout and no books (remember that old fave Steve?) you can handle one of these no worries.
