 Just to say that I  have tried to send a  document  containing  the Eagle K1400 multimeter  operating manual. I could not do so because the  document was too large. I will try to send the page containing the circut diagram as it the most useful.

JUST TO SAY THAT I have tried to send The Eagle K1400 multimeter manual as an attachment ,but could not do so because it is too large (25Mb) .The limit is 100kb. Maybe it could be sent to an e-mail address ,that might work ?

What sort of file are you trying to upload?

Our attachement limits are actually very generous, unless you're trying to upload something inefficient like a .BMP. See this thread: http://golbornevintageradio.co.uk/forum/...p?tid=4835

If you can convert it to a .PDF, it'll probably upload with no problems...

I've found the schematic diagram of the K1400 but without the types and values of the components.
Because the resistors R24, R25, R29 are burned through, I really do appreciate if someone can tell me the value of these resistors.

Hi All
I have just acquired a K1400 from EBAY. Although advertised as perfect it has badly leaking batteries (easily fixe) but the main issue is a burnt resistor. No chance of working out value.
Is there any one with the exact model as I have discovered there is several K1400 models. All else looks OK.
The said resistor is located beside 2 white pots in front of the C cell.
I used these in the early 1980's as a technician in a TV business.

Is it the small one with the red wire attached or the larger taller on nearer to the range switch?

Have you found the answer yet? If not can you tell where these are located in the meter and I can measure mine for you.
