Hi Col, there are a lot of scope books about, quite cheap if you want to know more about scopes and how to use them. depends what you want them for. If you are into tv, higher frequencies are a used, for me these old work horses are ideal for my collection of radios, the frequency, can be altered on these by plug in amps, of which in total i have 4, i do have other scopes too 9 or 10 in total, i think i also have 3 rf sig gens and two audio generators.... regards...Alan
