Yes the scope is a 100Mhz Tektronix 7603 with a 7A26 plug in it with the 20Mhz bandwidth limiter switched off.

It would appear to be the same distortion I have got on both of mine.
It is very odd that the waveform was not very much better on these.
I have identified where the distortion is coming from to a block diagram level and could go in further to see if there is anything age related that could do it.

I have to say young Lawrence, with all due respect, that I think something is wrong.
My old Advance 63C produces much better Waveforms.

I have looked back at the message I linked to and the owner had also checked with yet another owner and he had also found the same so that makes four of them with this distortion.
The problem is only present up to about 250Khz and then it improves and is fine up to 20Mhz or so and the amplitude drops a bit up to 30Mhz.
