Hello Sam, thank you for the welcome, I am restoring a Hameg 203-5 - trace moving across screen so prob a trigger fault I need to sort out, I have worked on these Hamegs before so should be a fairly easy fix, incidentally - the maker's service manual contains errors on the cct board components - two plug-in transistors are shown the wrong way round! I discovered this whilst fault tracing, so for anyone working on the 200 series Hamegs this is worth noting.

I'm never likely to work on one but it is well worth noting!  Surprising how many service sheets do contain substantial errors.

Thank you Mike - yes the Hamegs are relatively easy to work on and as you say no bespoke components,
