Hi all,
Newbie here. Ex Royal Sigs RR tech from way back and most of my working life afterwards spent in and around 2 way radio, cellular (analogue and digital) and now finally retired.
Built myself a man cave at home as a get away and to save sitting in front of TV and am repairing various pieces of kit I own with varying degrees of success.
A Marconi 2955R which is mostly now complete, but I need another sig gen to complete calibration of the sensitive RX. A couple of old Hameg scopes. One which is beyond rescue but the other works fine. Could no doubt do with some caps changing and I'll get to it one day. A couple of spectrum analysers which are OK except for batteries. Not worried about that. And the sig gen I bought as a spares or repair from a well known auction site which is turning out to be more challenging than the 2955 has been. I need to get it going though to complete repairs as previously mentioned.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Sorry it's so long.
