MARCONI 289 RESTORATION

I am restoring a Marconi 289 radiogram with a faulty mains transformer, so am trying to obtain a chassis to use the mains transformer. Similar chassis are fitted to the following models - Marconi 296, HMV 442, HMV 443, and HMV 570. I don't need the valves and I would be happy to collect a chassis if anyone can oblige.

Hi, I do transformer rewinds, but they do not come cheaply unfortunately. I do however have some various used tested transformers.
If you can post a picture of the transformer with dimensions I may be able to help (also a note of voltages).
If you are not after originality I may have an electrically suitable transformer that may be a different shape. This would be a lot cheaper

Thanks Ed, I'm unable to post pictures at present , but there is a good picture on page 7 Vol 40 Winter 2015 of The Bulletin. The dimensions of the laminations measure 110mm by 79mm by 32mm. The only details of voltages etc. I have are those in the valve analysis of Trader sheet 521. I intend to keep the chassis as original as possible.
