Not impressed at all by these amps. Very sparse and basic electronics, more hype than sense. Typical audio foolery.
Big does not imply good.

The most impressive thing about them is the turntable.  Never seen a real one but there are videos of them in action and its impressive.  Wonder what they used for needles when multi-playing of stacks?  Might not have been botherd about wear, just buy new records

USA autochangers (some flipped a stack so as to play complete Classical Album*) used sapphire even in 1930s. Some UK decks still using steel in 1950. The steel needles are usually single play (not sure if that means both sides). Thorns and bamboo also work and don't so much damage the records.

[* Hence Albums are not 1&2, 3&4 etc but 1&6, 2&5 etc for a 6 disc set. Some were also 12″ rather than common 10″]

Apparently the Capeheat ones could play mixed 12 and 10".

I used to use thorn needles and steel: I reckoned one needle was both sides. I did have some specials said to be good for 10 plays but they soon got used up and very hard to find anymore. Conversion to saphire was around but not recommended with old 78s as pieces of steel left in the groves would soon chip the saphire.
