Did Bush Make a Prototype Wooden DAC90 OR DAC90A ?

Hi as per title did Bush do a Wooden DAC90 or DAC90A as it would have been more expensive than Bakelite kind regards Bob

Not to my knowledge but the DUG 3 console is the same chassis as DAC 90, SUG 3 is similar but AC only.

Something to consider when that workshop becomes warmer. At the moment it's not a pleasant to work place because it is too cold to do anything.
But those outstanding jobs must be finished. For example the Baird T5 and the Philips 563A TV receiver.
Attachments show one cabinet recreation I did many tears ago.

Hi Jeffrey this a must ab David is the one to create a wooden cabinet Hi David a must to add to the do list as you say its to cold in the workshop to do much work. The Pye 65A is a very nice set kind regards Bob

There was the BP90, roughly the same size and same layout of controls but a battery portable in leathercloth-covered wooden box.

I've never met one, though I did have a BA91 for a while: same bakelite case as the DAC90, but a battery set that used external  batteries as there was no room for them inside.

Hi Paul that BP90 is a nice set would look totally different in a veneered cabinet . Would like a BA91 but there are as rare as rocking horses poo
