Collaro Conquest problem

Collaro Conquest record player problem. Any advice welcome.
The autochanger stacker works okay with 33rpm LPs and plays good, but when I stack 1 or more 7in 45rpm singles the pick up arm just returns to its rest and stops without playing ?

A few years back a bloke in Leigh fixed my Collaro record player but I have lost his contact details
