Was wandering round the Covent Garden area last month and saw a couple of interesting bits of vintage kit.
The pile of radios was in a shop window as part of a display. No idea why. ISTR it was in Neal Street.
The Mercury arc rectifier was in a high window in the Royal Opera House on Bow Street. I think it was here: https://goo.gl/maps/UojgdAYinEZQ7VQM6
I presume it was a MAR that had been used as part of the stage lighting at one time. Hard to tell but looks like the mercury has been removed.
