Warning message -Certificate not recognised

Or words to that effect.  When I switched on my PC earlier this morning, a note saying that the security certificate for my Talk Talk Router was not from a trusted source appeared.  Now I haven't changed the router, the PC, or anything else for a long while, and everything is working normally, so what prompted the warning notice??

Just for reference. A member of the family pointed out that our desktop PC (little used) was coming up with invalid certificates. It transpired, after finding that the clock setting (specifically date) was out and to blame, that the cmos battery was failing. Now changed and all Ok.
