Seeing Crackle's Vero layout in this thread https://golbornevintageradio.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=7337&pid=80737#pid80737 reminded me of a piece of software that I have used in the past. Verocad is a program that allows you to create a Veroboard layout for a circuit you want to build. I found it especially useful when I needed to replicate a previous design.
Go to https://www.softpedia.com/get/Science-CAD/VeroCAD.shtml and download the zip file. Extract it and run the setup program. You need to enter 8 characters in the company name field then click install. Windows 10 did not create any links to the program so you need to go to c:\veroCAD and create a shortcut to veroCAD. exe
