We have the biggest single solar site in the world here at Solar Park (see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_b...Solar_Park)
The 77 km2 site will be producing 1 GW by 2020 and 5 GW by 2030 - they'll do it, too...
I was there with my youngest son (a civil engineer) a couple of weeks ago for the international Solar Decathlon competition - very impressive place...
Even the current site can easily be seen from space... (it already covers 8 km2)
