Yesterday evening I visited the London Hackspace in its new premises near Wembley Stadium. They've recently moved there from Hackney. They've got a lot of space and they're still fitting it out. They currently have about 600 members, down from 1200 before the move.
I'm wondering about joining. Does anyone else here belong to a hackspace?
For electronics, both vintage and modern, my own lab is way better than theirs which is hardly surprising. They have wood and metalwork areas that look reasonably well equipped, a laser cutter and a 3D printer. Unexpected facilities include a computer controlled knitting machine.
