I visited the Elvington air museum yesterday to watch - listen to the Victor bomber engine run, wow, it was loud.
I saw in a wartime aeroplane radio operators mockup a CRT display which could well be the same or very similar to the one I used to make an oscilloscope from as a boy.
Mine had EF50s, and VCR97. I dont remember much else about it now but I stripped most of it out and fitted the circuits from A book I had.
I think mine was grey not black like the one in the photo attached, this one hads a label saying Indicator 166A.
I havent been able to find any more information about it, though it may have been part of the Gee navigation system.
