R&TVS books

I'm trying to sort out my collection of R&TVS books, having just acquired a few in nice condition at Harpenden today to replace some of my rather tatty ones. However this raises the old problem of the complex and confusing overlapping sets in the years before 1957.

Is there an authoritative guide to the subject? The best I've found is here: http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showt...php?t=4602 but even this doesn't seem to be 100% accurate or comprehensive. i have the 2 documents referenced in that thread and I'm still a bit confused.

HI Jeffrey, I believe Chas Miller did a definitive guide in one of the Radiophile magazines a good few years back, if you mail him he may still have a copy.
