Has anyone had anything to do with these radios http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/nordmende_p..._7675.html
I recently acquired one that had been partially restored. I have since hooked it up to just about everything I have, and it seems to cope very well. The sound is better than just about any other radio I have had.
I must admit that the speakers are not original, as they had suffered some damage, and not being able to find original replacements, I used a set of modern triaxial car speakers that had exactly the same mounting dimensions. The originals where 6 Ohm and the replacements are 8 Ohm, so near enough.
I would be interested in any background info on these sets. I have managed to find out that there is also a 6/675 which looks identical, but has a different chassis and valve line up.
