Computer infestations, Is it possible?

Here I am, sitting on the veranda in the shade, its 33+ here, happily scanning the forums and my files........SHOCK!........ there is an ant walking round the screen.
OK, not the first, seen plenty disappearing under the keys, just brush it off.

Simple?  no. The little beggar is IN THE SCREEN!

It is happily walking round behind the touch screen, I can only hope that it gets out, its very distracting.

This is the junk computer, Acer V11, that is going back to PC World for credit when I get home. I had better not tell them it is infested.

Has anyone had this happen? I would not of thought it possible.

I've never had an ant but have one IBM think pad that has several of those tiny 'thunderflies' in the screen. They're dead and will now be a permanent blot on the screen. These are the little devils that often get behind the glass of artwork. I acquired the machine with them and living in the uk in a rural farming area I always keep my laptops in one of those sealable poly bags.

We aught to make a list of all the gadgets that do not have sealed screens so that we can avoid them.
We can all remember how grotty those implosion shields used to get on 405 TVs. Screen technology is going back to the 1950s.

I did lot's of CRT swops in the TV trade, I always found the Fenbridge Guard the worst, sometimes a spec of whatever wouldn't show up until the TV had been reassembled, switched on and the raster appearing, Thorn used them a lot in the 1960's, we used to put them on with the help of a hair dryer, they were a PITA.
