TDSL valve data under WIndows 7

I've just installed the invaluable TDSL personal edition** on my new W7 PC. It runs ok but when I close it there's an access violation at address 00000000. Doesn't seem to give an grief beyond that but would be nice if it didn't. Has always run perfectly on an XP machine. Using XPsp3 compatibility mode in W7 didn't help.  Don't think it's worth running it in an XP VM.

Any ideas?


** If you do anything at all with valves you need this on your computer. It's my first resource when I need valve info of any kind.
