No doubt most members will recall this long-gone company, which used to trade from 116-117, Much Park Street, Coventry, then later from the Foleshill Road in the same City. In one of my boxes I've just found two coils, a RA4 & RO4, still in their original boxes, c/w by now slightly tatty but still readable circuit diagrams, and, in one box, a colour identification chart for all the 'R' series coils. The boxes are labelled 'R' coils High Gain, and price marked 3/- (RO4) and 3/3 (RA4). I must have bought them, probably from Repanco back in the late 1960s, as i recall using them to modify a Valve Superhet which was a constructional project on a Radio & TV Servicing Course I attended back in 1971. All this made me wonder if anyone else still has original Repanco products, or any equipment in which they were used. Are they as well remembered as , say, Denco or Weyrad?
