Source of UV Photoresist lacquer?

For as long as I can remember, I've sprayed my own PCB laminates with UV photo-resist aerosol spray and the ones I've used are some small cans I bought a long time ago at a rally, with a 'use by' date of 1995! They're coming to an end, and I've just done a google search expecting to be spoilt for choice for suppliers of lacquer, but unusually, have drawn a blank. I guess I must be looking in the wrong place, but I've tried various search strings - UV PCB lacquer/spray, UV photo-resist lacquer, aerosol UV lacquer etc and come up with nothing.

Anyone know of a source please?

Mega's prices aren't that bad - I've used them for years: http://www.megauk.com/pcb_chemicals.php - the immersion tin plating is excellent as it really protects your boards.

The UV coating I used was the Seno stuff: http://www.megauk.com/chemical-applicators.php - but I preferred the pre-coated boards - got better results that way...

I prefer spraying my own plain board as that way, if it['s under or over exposed, nothing is lost - I can just wipe the board clean and re-spray iy for another attempt.

I've wasted too much pre-coated board in the past, trying to get the exposure right, and the developer. Also, you always end up with useless offcuts.

Apologies for the error. I notice that Rapid do the Seno pad-type applicators, with a photo-resist among them but I have to say they are not my favourite as I prefer the spray - I find it easier to get an even coat. Nowadays I use pre-sensitised board and never vary the processing, producing good results every time but it is true that there can be wastage.

Well the UV lacquer arrived, I've given it a go, and have made a couple of PCBs with it.

Always a bit touch and go to get the exposure time right and the strength of the developer, but I usually manage to muddle through.

A 200 mL UV  aerosol [allegedly] covers 2.5 sq M, roughly 27 sq ft, so that's about 48p a sq ft.

Surprised to find that Maplin were cheaper than anyone else for the same Electrolube UV lacquer, and free post too.

David - are you using "iron-on" transfer or printing onto plastic sheet and using that?

If you are printing onto a plastic "positive", are you mirroring the output and inverting the sheet?
