Indeed very unusual and not seen often.
Funny enough there was one on the Ebay.com last week located in America unfortunately that was the full rack mount setup same as the one in the post but included the matching speaker and in better cosmetic condition.

I would love to have a punt on it but I already have HRO sets and I am meant to be downsizing this year

I had an HRO complete in the rack cabinet when I 1st started gathering stuff many years ago, I gave it away! Now I'm on my 2nd gathering I wish I hadn't.

Can anyone tell me what material the rack-mounted HRO front panel was made of? I've seen such a panel that was of the order of 5mm thick aluminium, but was never sure whether it was original or some mysterious homebrew?
