Vice jaw protectors: advice, please

By my description in this thread subject, what I am referring to are the clip-on attachments to an engineers' bench-mounted vice. These provide a firm grip to the workpiece but prevent the jaws of the vice from marking the workpiece and also provide some protection for the vice jaws during various cutting operations.

The ones I have now have been in use for decades and are simply worn out! Their construction incorporates a fibre grip - red / brown in colour - this grip is about 1/4" thick, with a metal 'hook' at each end that you wrap around the vice jaw. Hopefully, by now, anyone reading this will know exactly what I am referring to.

My problem is this: I can't find a source for these. They need to fit a vice with 4" jaws. I can see a lot of magnetically-secured types, some with what look like quite thin grips and some using rubber - but I have no experience of these.
The vice in question gets used for the usual duties: cutting / filing / drilling wood, metal, etc.

Any recommendations (and anti-recommendations) guys? Any known good sources of supply?

Thank you Colin. Unfortunately, Google (being an American organisation) reads my text, using the word 'vice', and promptly converts that to 'vise' in its resulting search, so most of the search results are thus in the U.S.A. The is one version on e-bay U.K. with fibre jaws, but its aperture is 3"; I need 4".

Apart from all that, what I am asking for is members opinions about magnetically-secured versions as opposed to the mechanically-secured types and the effectiveness and life of those with rubber covered jaws as opposed to fibre covered jaws.

Yes, that does help, thanks: I get 'vice' and 'vise' now. So at least I can manually ignore results that include the word 'vise'.
