Not really sure what part to post this in so apologies if this is not the best area ...
I'm sure everyone is aware of the CE mark for almost everything these days which infers it meets EU standards and in the case of electronics meets EMC regs. But did you know that our dear friends in China now have their own CE mark standing for China Electronics.
If you look at a genuine CE mark if you continue the "C" into an "O" it meets up with the curve in the "E".
But the Chinese version has the C closer into the E and would overlap the "E".
So what you believe is a well tested and approved product may not be - have a look around your house and I bet you'll find fakes lurking.
Words fail me .. especially if safety is concerned.
