I don't know why I bought this but it was on ebay for £10 and I was intrigued.
I was hoping it had a valve amp but know its solid state using a BI PAK module.
written on the case is practical wireless 1978.
Anyway after fitting a captive mains lead changing the coax socket for a BNC and cleaning all the pots and switches it now works.
If you feed in an audio signal with the filter off it works as a mediocre bench amp.
Switching in the filter circuit you can remove selective frequency's .
Now the question is what on earth is the purpose of the filter? as its not calibrated so you don't know what frequency you are removing.
has any one any ideas .

if its made by hand it can be repaired by hand
