Electronic sewing mchine

My wife has been given a Bernina 910 electronic sewing machine.Unfortunately the two leads are missing, one for the foot control, the other for the 240 volt mains input, both are two pin,which is which no earth.I have removed the machine covers hoping that would give me clue, but the wires are RED. I have traced the light supply but that goes to a large control board. Spares for Bernina are very expensive so I don't want to damage the board.A circuit diagram or any other help would be appreciated.Ted

All the sewing machines I've dealt with weren't earthed and the connectors weren't polorised. I've never seen one of that make though so can't really help further.
