Many of you know that I've been after one for years, but sometimes when you get a set then you wonder why or 'Who the heck's done that!'
There are 2 pictures below from inside - one of the circuit board where missing tracks are 'repaired' with wire, something else is there that shouldn't be and the capacitor, in the other picture, is plainly the wrong one and the wrong value into the bargain.
Tidy up, change and hope...
The EM84 goes dim on VHF as something is dropping the HT,
