PYE VHF 3D Radio

Hi, is anyone familiar with this type of radio. Two bass/midrange speakers, two tweeters, high shine cabinet, two EL84,s in output stages. Nice dial fabric, not a bad looking set, although a bit on the wide side, not my cup of tea, it came with other radio,s, although now its going and re-strung it sounds really nice on VHF, magic eye, cheap plastic knobs let it down, they are original.....regards....Alan.

Nice one, Alan. I haven't got one and it's one of the few specific sets that I am after.

Despite what it says on the front they are NOT stereo as they don't have a decoder. It has got a stereo amp though for when it's connected to a gramophone.

Those polystyrene knobs are a pain whatever they're on and due to the concentric pots you can't really change them for something else.

Hi Joe, ill put aside for you then, you are spot on its not stereo radio, as you say no decoder, but stereo on gram, thanks for your reply......Alan.
