Screen fault with PC?

Seems to be with the screen as I can grab the one on the right, slightly obscured and it becomes clear.  The others completely blurred cant be grabbed.

Have seen it on progs where part of the lettering is cut off at the bottom.

Just asking for views that my thinking is correct.

Not with the screen as Web pages including this one are clear. Is W10 and Edge

Now cured! Dont know how but maybe a W10 update and fix. But good.

I've seen similar on Linux. Basically it's typically a driver mishap, i.e. a software issue. With any OS, the low level driver code is supplied by third parties - in Linux's case, everything bar the kernel itself is "third party"; for Windows, the add-on hardware (e.g. video card) manufacturers supply the miniport (hardware specific) drivers - Microsoft only supply the default/generic/fallback drivers.

All software, whatever environment, will have issues at some point.

You can get a similar effect if you lock your computer then select the log in box to get back in. The background picture becomes blurred, bringing the log in box into focus. It happens on log on too. I have seen a partly blurred screen like that in the past. I would suggest a software issue.

Its always nice to have a plausible explanation for something.  Brain is happier for that

Well, of all the ( very few ) problems I have had with 23 years of Linux, and perhaps 20 years of Unix before that . Its never been driver problems.
Oh, except with printers. Namely those that wont release firmware, or *nix drivers. Canon being the worst offenders.
Although, saying that, I recently bought an A3 printer scanner from Brother.
Worked perfectly after installing the supplied drivers, albeit with a little massaging to get them to load in the first place.
THEN, they ( Brother ) did an update. I can scan, but I cannot print. It seems that without ORIGIONAL ink cartridges the printer dies.
Origional carts are over $100 for the four, and like most ink jets spends at least 23 of every 24 hours "cleaning heads ".
So carts last a couple of days and havent printed bugger all.

After market carts ( which I use ) are $25 for all four, in long life versions. BUT the hardware signature chips attached
dont connect to Brother.

Surely there should be a law against that.

I have given up with all jet printers completely.
For under 30 pages per year a local high street photo printing shop can do it cheaper.
For circuit diagrams most small TV sets can be fixed flat to the wall above the work bench. They only need a port that can see a computer video card.
