Hi Bob,
The Bush DAC90 was introduced in 1946 and I believe the DAC90A was still in the shops as late as 1959. Certainly was being supplied to dealers in 1957 because a local shop was still stocking and selling the DAC90A in white cabinet form. Geordie McBoyne.

Many years ago I had quite a few but I really had the wrong philosophy and disliked the 90s because of hot running and I did have both a black one and a white one but favoured the iconic brown Bakelite. I think I gave my white one to my big sister and she may still have it. Looking in my loft I just have two 90As in brown 73/149173 and 73/121704.

Variants of the DAC90 were the three waveband AC91 and the battery model BA91. No doubt models made for export without long waveband. Rumoured that an all dry battery version was made or considered by Bush Radio Ltd. Motivated by that possibility I'm constructing such set using salvaged bits bought on eBay.
