It's routine to use the Vishay/Roderstein "yellow peril" axial fim caps when restoring vintage kit. Either bare or disguised according to your taste. But they are getting more expensive. I was browsing the Mouser catalogue and found a possible alternative. This is the 100n 630V part:

Under 50p each in 10+. Obviously you've got to order enough stuff to get free delivery but that's not usually difficult.
I can't see any problems with them. What do you think?
