The Early Television Foundation ran a Zoom session last night and this Youtube gives you tours of the museum and also Darryl Hock's very interesting collection.

Darryl's early RCA design notes look absolutely fascinating. I wish we had access to that sort of stuff from the early TV manufacturers this side of the pond. We got a small glimpse of it from Norman Green's researches at EMI.

Peter thanks for the link I watched the whole lot on YouTube. It really started at 21 mins in and the highlight for me was Daryl's collection particularly seeing the supporting documents he found.

It's a pity that they set the Zoom session for 8 pm EST. So it would have run on 3-45 am for our side of the pond!

It worked out for the one guy from Australia, he had just had breakfast. It is always difficult finding a time, at work setting up international calls always meant someone up in the middle of the night!

The hours don't suit us very well but the museum has produced a video of the proceedings and it's well worth watching.
