Old karaoke machine

I pulled this out of a local black berry patch with a view to converting it to run from a 12V dryfit battery.
My original proposal was to fit the guts of a £5 MP3 player in it for use on an allotment I have taken on.
If the radio goes again I may leave it at that. I will also try the tapes too.
It looks like it also has a radio in it as I spotted when I put it on a radiator to dry off.
It looks like the brand name is Binatone.
The cabinet looks fine under the peeling plastic coating.
It looks like a ghetto blaster in a chip board cabinet from outside.
Does anyone recognize it?

Spawn of the devil. It was in the blackberry bushes because it had been exorcised, burn it and put the ashes back where you found it. Karaoke is the worst thing ever on the planet.
Its crap anyway, Binatone never made anything good. In My Opinion.

I quite agree with the awful row people used to make with them.
My original proposal was to gut one of the cassette decks and fit a cheap MP3 player in its place and use it for playing recorded music while tending an allotment.
All it needs to be is 12V HT so that I can use it on a dryfit battery.
If the radio comes back up it might just be that but all the same it will save me taking a decent radio up there and getting it all muddy.
The carry handle and space for a dryfit battery was the attraction. If the amplifier and radio work it will be a bonus.
