The only mainstream supplier I still deal with on a fairly regular basis is CPC, with whom I've had an account for about 20 years. They offer free shipping on all orders by account holders, and I've seldom had any problems with them. Haven't used Farnell for quite a while, in fact I think I've only ever ordered from them twice. Other firms with whom I used to deal, such as SEME, later SEME-Nedis, seem to have vanished, as did Willow Vale, who seem to have morphed into those 'Spares 4U' firms, with a different brand name for each Major Manufacturer. RS I rarely use, and I beleive another once very useful firm, CHS, have ceased trading as of 30 November 2016. They were good for specific manufacturers spares.
