Pembers' Ponderings

[Terry]

Alan Pemberton put together a lot of useful TV related data in his website 'Pembers' Ponderings' but gave it up when his ISP pulled the plug on him.

While it was still available he suggested that anybody who was interested was welcome to download their own copy of the site, which I did. I also passed it on to Chris at VRAT and he placed a copy on his site.

Alan's site has, eventually, disappeared for good from the web but the VRAT version is still available to anybody who is interested at http://www.radios-tv.co.uk/Pembers/index-2.html

I have checked that it is available without logging on so feel free to explore.

Mark, if you are interested in hosting a copy here, I still have the original download on my laptop which I can access the next time I boot it up.

I've many domains and almost unlimited storage, so I can mirror it too, if you want.

The Raspberry Pi can run RiscOS and has PAL Composite out:

I'd completely forgotten that I'd stored a copy in my Dropbox!

EDIT: I created a link to the folder but it doesn't appear to work!

The entire folder is 15MB so I don't know what will happen if I try to e-mail it!

Ah! I forgot about archive.org!

It appears that the site was still available earlier this year - here is the last version that was archived:

It depends on your email provider and on the destination user's email provider. Actually I implemented 12M Byte limit on my dialup email around 2001 and scrapped it in Dec 2005 just after I got broadband, however web or SFTP / FTP download is more efficient and more reliable.
