Back in 1991 I sent a fax to Jim Williams (not many of us had email back then) and got a reply by snail mail. See attached images.
Jim Williams was a truly great guy as well as a great engineer. Just noticed how wonderfully this thread has drifted.

I'm sure Joe Sousa (on Radio Museum) knew Jim Williams as they worked in same company and similar interests.
