Have you tried leadmate ? Its very good stuff and it worked in the wet when i used it. We had a bad leak above our bay window and i got out on there in the rain and sealed it up and not had another leak since and that was 2 years ago. You can get it from builders merchants or i think places like screw fix do it. I had a few tubes which a roofer left on a site i was working on but threw the rest away as they had gone out of date

The problem is if it's cracked on the top surface filling the crack from underneath might just divert the water to some other weak or minutely fractured point, the only sure fire way is to rip the tiles off and put a proper valley in using either lead or fiber glass suitably supported, that can be done in the winter but be prepared for a bit of swearing...

The trouble is that the crack is below the end of the tile that is further up the valley and is not visible from above.
There are several tasks involved the first being to cut away a small amount of wood this being stopped due to rain making the job a problem. Woodworking tools just don't work very well in the wet.
Once the under side of the crack is exposed I can fix it with cement and mesh from a broken flour sieve.
Then flashing will be added so that if it fails again any water will be carried over the top edge of the next tile down.

It has been an absolute pain.
Every time I have tried to fix it the rain has just washed out the repair whatever method I use.
Last time I had to fix a roof it was exactly the same. 6 months of rain before I was able to get to it.

Just wondered how you were getting on with the amp?

This last few days has been good.
There has been the first dry period of more than 24 hours for over 6 months and I have done a repair that looks like it might hold and as soon as I have seen a good couple of hours of rain without any drips I will patch the ceiling up and we will be back onto it.
This was the second time I have wanted to repair a roof and had to endure many hours of news about flooding of thousands of homes.
We on the finishing strait on the roof repair now.
