Is it me or is Romanian very similar to Latin with a bit of French thrown in for good measure?

[attachment=1173]The Romanian language is derived from Latin. I have this book titled "INTRODUCERE in Televiziune". The subject of television is very well covered from the camera though to the receiving end.
