Sorry Lawrence, I was going to reply last night but got caught up in the outage.
Yes, that certainly looks like it. The only difference that I can see is the 'Thing' sticking out at the back/RHS at the level of the Top Knob. Whatever it is I haven't got one but it may be part of some arrangement to gang this one with another Coil. The Coverage is wonderful although it would have been more useful if a Tuning Capacitor value had been quoted. I made the LW + MW Windings 2.17mH, which implies 500pF or thereabouts. I wish we'd got the Wiring Diagrams mentioned in the Advert. Somewhere, on a dusty Shelf, ...... I've had another stab at reverse-engineering it, and nearly had a disaster. As I mentioned above the best bet appeared to be to disconnect all the Wires connected to the Earth Terminal and see where everything went. There's a very thick one which disappears into the plumbing - Short Wave? There's two thin stranded Wires in a Sleeve. That was under the thick Windings and I only just managed to get it off without damage. However, one of the Wires is now a tad short and I'll have to strip it and connect it to the other one. The sleeve is, I think, Waxed, and I 'll have to use a new piece of Heatshrink or some such to stand any chance of getting it back. Anyway, having disconnected, I tried to figure out where they went to, and failed. Sorry, I'm going to put it back together before I really bugger it. Alan

That's the Brother to mine - splendid. The Windings look OK. What's broken? Can you photograph the other side? I' sure we could fabricate something suitable. We could even make a Casting of my Escutcheon. Alan

That's a bugger. I assume the problem is the Wavechange Switch. Pity really, because the Aperiodic Switch is easier to get at. Looking down the top there's a Screw which appears to hold the Wipers on to the Shaft. If you slacken it will the Shaft pull out? That will allow you to remove the remains of the Wipers and make some new ones.
I measure the Shafts at 0.186", which is near enough 3/16" (0.1875). The '30s equivalent of 5mm? I've put mine back together and I think it's OK. Anyway, I hope so. Get yours going and we can compare measurements. Alan
