Another Chinese outlet is www.wish.com They just about have everything including clothing, shoes, housewares and basically you name it. Delivery is two to three weeks.
Is this now going to make inroads into even UK internet shopping?

Hi All,

 I bought a MurphyTR230 for my wifes use in the kitchen, a nice tan one (£4 at the barrows) . I,ll come to the point in a minute. Anyway the TR230 wasnt very good on LW (R4 being the station of choice).  so I considered a pantry tx on MW fed by an FM radio. I even made a board for it but never got as far as testing it. For the FM radio I bought a little module from China which proved to be so good I abandoned the Pantry thing and put the Module in the TR230 case.

It worked a treat. There are no instructions with the module but it has plenty audio power to drive a spkr in portable radio, 30 pre sets, an alarm function, variable mute level and probably other functions I hav,nt found. All for under a fiver. It seems to be a microcontroller fed by the 5 buttons generating I2c ? feeding a DSP radio chip feeding what is probably a class D audio stage. It even remembers the station tuned when powered down. For less than a fiver! .Eat your heart out Mullard! At the risk of offending purists heres a few pics of the TR230 as I first built it, not very neat but it worked so well my wife snaffled it before I could tidy it up.

I just bought some test clips, very good value, but there was an option to buy from a Chinese warehouse or a European warehouse. Wanting to save the planet, I picked the Euro option and it was more than £1 more expensive!! Back to China.

I've used something similar for quite some time. Much better than using a sponge, which soon dries out.

These are what I use: very comfortable, just worn one for about 4 hours sanding down a DIY job. I take no chances; the sander has a vac cleaner plugged into it and the outlet from the vac is connected to another pipe that is put outside. Its a Wickes Wet and Dry vac that has given wonderful service but for the price the filter isn't up to the standard of say a Miele.

These masks come recommended. Can spray cellulose with them and not smell a thing until I step outside the garage, shut the door and take off the mask. Boy! I move quick away from there.
