As well as the inputs David marked there are a pair of attenuated ones, which are what I use for my FreeView box as that seems to have quite a high output which caused distortion on the normal ones.

   

I was in Bardwell's yesterday and was told that they've still got plenty.

What voltage are you powering yours at Joe? Also, any idea of what current it is drawing at that voltage?

12V at, if memory serves (Ha!), about 100ma.

85mA at a normal level and 650mA with the regulator in the roof.

Thanks Joe - I am also powering at 12 volt and was wondering at the current drawn. It seemed to be 50mA quiescent and, as yours, 600+ with the neighbours being entertained. They are wonderful units and, as David says, if no good, then they would have made good potentiometer donors.

Aanyway, I ordered and received two of these amps. hope to try them out as soon as I get time..
I thought they might be handy for use with various reel tape decks which of course do not have built in amps. I have a few small mixers which I can use to feed into the inputs of the amps. might be ok for testing purposes...
I'm looking for some small clips for the pins on the Pcbs ,any suggestions ? . possibly similar to cartridge type clips.. Saves soldering until I am sure what I am going to do eventually ..
From ordering by phone ,to delivery was very quick .

Why not use screw terminal stripped from small connector blocks Peter?

A picture paints a thousands words so I've added a pic here to show what I mean. Seems fine:

(In case the sharp eyed spot it, yes, I know it's a red wire on the ground terminal. I was eating my porridge with one hand when I took the pic!).
